In the last week, two grass fires have started in our neighborhood, caused by electrocuted birds (one on Deer Lane, the other on Homestead Road). Thanks to quick action by your neighbors, these fires were under control even before South Metro arrived. Apparently no one told the birds that Stage One fire restrictions are in place! P.S.
