Our neighborhood cleanup day was a success! We filled two heavily compacted dumpsters and a trailer for scrap metal, plus electronics and waste oil. We’re happy to report that voluntary donations covered the cost of the dumpsters. Plus, you might have noticed that the entrance to our neighborhood is much cleaner without all that trash along Homestead Road. Big thanks to Chuck Courter and son Dustin of First Response Dumpsters, to Ed Brooks for hosting the dumpsters on his property for the day, and to our Homestead Road cleanup crew: Kelly Ellingson, Elisa George, Peter Saint-Andre, and Anne & Greg Temple with their son Chris and even their 8-year-old granddaughter! It seems likely we’ll do this again, so stay tuned for future announcements.
