You might have heard that the Douglas County public works department has plans to widen Pine Drive from Lincoln Avenue north to Inspiration Drive. As a result, Pine Drive will go from 2 lanes to 4 lanes and signals (not roundabouts) will be installed where Pine Drive intersects both Ponderosa Drive and Pine Lane (with Pine Lane being widened, as well). Once final plans have been completed and rights of way have been obtained, the County will begin construction in the Fall of 2023.
